Editorial standards

Specific, sourced, current where it matters.

We separate durable context from mutable facts, prefer primary and local sources, label editorial judgment, and remove claims we cannot support.

Mutable information

Events, prices, hours, access, closures, transportation, laws, taxes, licensing, and government processes receive a source and review date. When verification is weak, the claim is generalized or removed.

Events

No invented event, venue, date, audience, price, availability, or attendance. A recurring series is labeled recurring. The calendar is curated and never called live without a live integration.

Culture and history

We favor museums, archives, universities, libraries, community institutions, and primary materials. Tourism sources help with discovery but do not carry cultural interpretation alone.

Commercial content

No sponsor, affiliate relationship, award, ranking, testimonial, or partnership is implied. Any future commercial relationship must be separated from editorial judgment and clearly disclosed.

Practical guidance

Moving and business guides offer general orientation and official starting points. They do not replace individualized legal, tax, insurance, medical, safety, or professional advice.
